Review of Grand Island, New York

Difficult for someone from a sunshine state

I have lived here for approximately 3 1/2 years and am originally from California (I have lived in Colorado Springs CO and Columbus GA as well). The number of days of sunshine here is limited and colder than I would like...however schools, crime rate and the people make up for it.

Couldn't agree more on the lack of sunshine and warmth as a Cali girl. Now that we are back west, I do miss the slower pace and small town feel of GINY. Don't think I could do the weather again...
